How to apply for CNIC online: Step by step guideline

How to apply for Nadra CNIC online? To apply online for a NADRA CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card), citizens of Pakistan can visit the NADRA website and follow a straightforward process. First, create an account and fill out the online application form, providing required personal and biometric information.

Next, upload scanned copies of supporting documents, such as proof of identity and address. After submitting the application, pay the required fee through a convenient online payment method. Once the application is processed, your card will be delivered on your ID card address.

Availability of Processing Facility

You can apply for id card online via pak id app which is available on Google Play Store.

Available at selected Pakistan Post Offices

For applicants residing in rural areas of Pakistan online processing facility is also available at selected Post Offices and they can also apply if they have knowledge about IT.

Available at 8 x International Airports of Pakistan

Online Processing facility is also available at 8 x International Airports of Pakistan at the departure lounge. You can visit there for your id card renewal.

Before apply online you must have required data ID Card number, photo and fingerprints etc.

System Requirements

Check the minimum system requirements and equipment needed at the time of apply. Here you can apply for renewal and modification of Address and Martial Status only. You can not change your name , father name , mother name and date of birth.

You can not apply for first time cnic. You can apply for expiry ID Card only but not expire more than 1 year. If Your card is expire more than ONE YEAR, you have to visit nearest Nadra Office.

Applicant must provide correct and active mobile number.

Register an account
Choose relevant category and start your application
Fill in application form online
Pay fee through Debit / Credit card or Easypaisa and Jazzcash
Upload a scanned photograph or upload photograph through Pak-ID Mobile Application
Scan and upload fingerprint by downloading or Capture fingerprint through Pak-ID Mobile Application.
Upload scanned documents or upload document through Pak-ID Mobile Application.
Submit the application.
It is advised that for attachment of all supporting documents(i.e. passport, ID cards etc).

Note : It is the sole responsibility of applicant to provide correct data/information while processing for ID card. Any fake information or forged documentation provided to NADRA may lead to legal proceedings against the applicant under section 30 of NADRA Ordinance 2000.
